| Abstract: | Improves procedure for modelling permafrost thickness evolution on coastal lowlands and shelf of Laptev Sea area in model covering four climatic and glacio-eustatic cycles. Results indicate increase in magnitude of oscillations of permafrost bottom, increase in differences in permafrost thickness during warmer parts of climatic cycles, lag in maximum thickness after climate extreme and present degradation of permafrost on shelf and coastal lowlands. |
