Abstract: 11 areas were included in Ramsar convention: Aqajarua and Sullorsuaq (wetlands; HT), Qinnquata Marraa and Kuussuaq (very important for moulting king eiders; HT), Kuannersuit Kuussuat (probably wrongly), Kitsissunnguit (high importance), Naternaq (very important for moulting white-fronted geese; HT), Eqalummiut Nunaat and Nassuttuup Nunaa (high diversity; HT), Ikkattoq (moulting sea ducks and breeding white-tailed eagles; HT), Kitsissut Avallit (one of most diverse seabird breeding colonies; existing legislation must be enforced), Heden (largest level tundra in Greenland; HT), Hochstetter Forland (moulting geese; HT), and Kilen (moulting geese and high-Arctic desert; HT). HT = helicopter traffic must be regulated. In some cases, boats too. Detailed reports for each site.
