Effects of environmental perturbations on abundance of sub-Arctic plants after three, seven and ten years of treatments / Enrico Graglia, Sven Jonasson, Anders Michelsen, Inger K. Schmidt, Mats Havström, Lars Gustavsson.

Title: Effects of environmental perturbations on abundance of sub-Arctic plants after three, seven and ten years of treatments / Enrico Graglia, Sven Jonasson, Anders Michelsen, Inger K. Schmidt, Mats Havström, Lars Gustavsson.

Date: 2001.
In: Ecography. (2001.), Vol. 24 (2001)
Abstract: Changes were analysed in two alpine, dwarf shrub heaths, with fertilizer addition, warming and light attenuation. One site was just above tree line at c. 450 m, one at c. 1150 m on much colder fell field. Grasses were one most sensitive group, increasing with fertilizer addition, and cryptogams were another, decreasing with fertilizer and warming, probably because of grass growth. Nutrient addition had stronger effect than either.
