Record #157008:

Recent trend reversals in Arctic sea ice extents: possible connections to the North Atlantic oscillation / Claire L. Parkinson.

Title: Recent trend reversals in Arctic sea ice extents: possible connections to the North Atlantic oscillation / Claire L. Parkinson.
Author(s): Parkinson, Claire L.
Date: 2000.
In: Polar Geography. (2000.), Vol. 24(1) (2000)
Abstract: Reports results of regression analysis performed on yearly averaged ice extents for two time periods 1979-1990 and 1990-1999. Explores possible connection between spatial patterns of sea ice trends and their reversals and North Atlantic Oscillation, which reached a peak in its annual index in 1990.
