Abstract: Reviews evidence for cold events in Cordillera of western North America, beginning about 3.5 Ma, with five events during Pliocene and 11 events during Quaternary period. Traces evidence for marine transgressions during following interglacials. Finds evidence for contemporary permafrost for most cold events, many tills being alloformations. Most extensive glaciation in Yukon was about 2.5 Ma B.P.
