Title: | The potential of synoptic plankton analyses for palaeoclimatic investigations: five plankton groups from the Holocene Nordic Seas / H. Christian Hass, and 10 others. |
Author(s): | Hass, H. Christian. |
Date: | 2000. |
Publisher: | Heidelberg, Germany: Springer |
In: | Northern North Atlantic : a changing environment. (2000.), |
Abstract: | Diatoms, radiolarians, coccolithophores, foraminifers and dinoflagellate cysts were analysed in six sediment cores and two traps, to examine evolution over last 15 000 years. Q-mode factor analyses found cold, warm, transitional and relict assemblages for each plankton group. Data are complementary, though not always consistent. |
