The potential of synoptic plankton analyses for palaeoclimatic investigations: five plankton groups from the Holocene Nordic Seas / H. Christian Hass, and 10 others.

Title: The potential of synoptic plankton analyses for palaeoclimatic investigations: five plankton groups from the Holocene Nordic Seas / H. Christian Hass, and 10 others.
Author(s): Hass, H. Christian.
Date: 2000.
Publisher: Heidelberg, Germany: Springer
In: Northern North Atlantic : a changing environment. (2000.),
Abstract: Diatoms, radiolarians, coccolithophores, foraminifers and dinoflagellate cysts were analysed in six sediment cores and two traps, to examine evolution over last 15 000 years. Q-mode factor analyses found cold, warm, transitional and relict assemblages for each plankton group. Data are complementary, though not always consistent.
