Snow drift control in residential areas: field measurements and numerical simulations / P.A. Sundsbø, B. Bang.

Title: Snow drift control in residential areas: field measurements and numerical simulations / P.A. Sundsbø, B. Bang.
Author(s): Sundsbø, P. A.
Bang, B.
Date: 2000.
Publisher: Rotterdam: A.A. Balkema
In: Snow engineering : recent advances and developments. Proceedings of the Fourth International Conference on Snow Engineering, Trondheim, Norway, 19-21 June, 2000. (2000.),
Abstract: Simulates dominant snow-drifting wind over residential areas of Hammerfest, Norway, giving wind map of complex topographical area. Numerical result was close to observed conditions. Simulation used Flow-3D, commercially available computational fluid dynamics programme.
Notes:
