Abstract: Did Thule meet Dorset, or had latter died out when Thule arrived? Article describes problems of site re-use or disturbance and possibility of acculturation or "salvage". Author analysed 669 radiocarbon dates and discusses various ways of grouping and explaining them, rejecting special natural influences on carbon levels at these places and times.
