Abstract: At least 43 structures from 33 sites were found in 4 regions of NE Canada. Form, orientation and external features are described. Radiocarbon dates range from 0 to 1500 AD. Question is raised of whether such large structures were roofed, contained skin tents or were gathering places for brief social activities. Wide range of fauna was eaten.
