Long term stochastic modeling for combination of snow and wind load effects / A. Naess, B.J. Leira.

Title: Long term stochastic modeling for combination of snow and wind load effects / A. Naess, B.J. Leira.
Author(s): Naess, A.
Leira, B. J.
Date: 2000.
Publisher: Rotterdam: A.A. Balkema
In: Snow engineering : recent advances and developments. Proceedings of the Fourth International Conference on Snow Engineering, Trondheim, Norway, 19-21 June, 2000. (2000.),
Abstract: Investigates combination of characteristic values of snow and wind load effects in civil engineering design, checking accuracy of EUROCODE 1 (1994) and ISO standard (ISO/FDIS 2394 1998). Uses Ferry Borges-Castanheta load model and method using long-term average level upcrossing rate of combined process. Values from both appear consistent.
Notes:
