Record #156231:

Daily observation of snowdrifts around a model cube / S. Oikawa, T. Tomabechi.

Title: Daily observation of snowdrifts around a model cube / S. Oikawa, T. Tomabechi.
Author(s): Oikawa, S.
Tomabechi, T.
Date: 2000.
Publisher: Rotterdam: A.A. Balkema
In: Snow engineering : recent advances and developments. Proceedings of the Fourth International Conference on Snow Engineering, Trondheim, Norway, 19-21 June, 2000. (2000.),
Abstract: Observes formation and behaviour of snowdrift around model cube in a day, under stable weather conditions. Largest snowdrifts formed on windward of cube, whilst erosion areas nearly surrounded cube. Wind scoop occurred at 4 m/s, agreeing with previous studies.
