| Abstract: | Glechoma hederacea is rare in North Norway, recorded at 32 widely dispersed sites, mainly in Nordland. All but two records were made in 20th Cent., mostly in gardens. Two near Kirkenes were found in birch forest and on luxuriant meadow, both close to German WW2 camps, and may have come in with horse fodder, as may another site near Pechenga. Last three specimens are glabrous, and may be variety hederacea. Almost all others are pubescent, so may be variety villosa. |
