Abstract: Author discusses how names such as Saami Goddevarre, Finnish Peuravaara Swedish Vildrensbergetcame came about. Some near equivalents are caused by lack of "g" in Finnish, or similarly. He has written Saami half in "Swedish" spelling, claiming that Saami can easily read it and North Saami special accented letters are merely nuisance.
