| Abstract: | In April 2000 60 m ice core was drilled on Lomonosovfonna plateau in Svalbard, following 120 m deep core in 1997. Results of dielectrical profiling device show that data on permittivity can be used for estimating density of firn in wet snow/percolation zones. Preliminary results showed large accumulation and melt over summer. |
