| Abstract: | Measurements were made in 1993-1996 and 1997-1998 on summit plateau at 1820 m. Average winter balance was c. 6000 mm and annual net balance up to 7780 mm, double that at nearby meteorological station of Kvísker. Data suggests large contribution of ablation and rainfall in warm summers. |
