Record #155430:

Folding in the Johnsons Glacier, Livingston Island, Antarctica / L. Ximenis, J. Calvet, D. Garcia, J.M. Casas, Francesco Sabat.

Title: Folding in the Johnsons Glacier, Livingston Island, Antarctica / L. Ximenis, J. Calvet, D. Garcia, J.M. Casas, Francesco Sabat.
Author(s): Ximenis, L.
Calvet, J.
Garcia, D.
Casas, J. M.
Sabat, Francesco.
Date: 2000.
Publisher: London: Geological Society
In: Deformation of glacial materials. (2000.),
Abstract: Finds tephra layers from volcano on Deception Island clearly mark internal structure of Johnsons Glacier, Livingston Island, and provide good information on deformation kinematics when dated. Describes folding and flow lines, together with related deformational structures in ablation area. Examines strain rates and causes of folding processes.
Notes:
