Record #154976:

Sea ice variability in Russian Arctic coastal seas: influences on the Northern Sea Route / Lawson W. Brigham.

Title: Sea ice variability in Russian Arctic coastal seas: influences on the Northern Sea Route / Lawson W. Brigham.
Author(s): Brigham, Lawson W.
Date: 2000.
Publisher: Cambridge :
Abstract: Examines distribution of sea ice in Russian Arctic seas, Kara, Laptev and East Siberian seas. Investigates recent changes in region's sea ice cover and their potential impact on Northern Sea Route (NSR). Using data from satellite observations, analyses state of sea ice environment and identifies trends of regional conditions. Creates several future scenarios based on Arctic sea changes and their impact on potential navigation along NSR.
