Title: Timing of the Last Glacial Maximum from observed sea-level minima / Yusuke Yokoyama, Kurt Lambeck, Patrick De Deckker, Paul Johnston, L. Keith Fifield.
Author(s): Yokoyama, Yusuke.

Date: 2000.
In: Nature. (2000.), Vol. 406(6797) (2000)
Abstract: Analyses four sediment facies in Bonaparte Gulf, Australia to estimate maximum volume of land-based ice during last glaciation and timing of initial melting phase. Estimates that land-based ice volume was at maximum between 22,000 and 19,000 BP, with rapid decrease in ice volume of about 10% terminating LGM within a few hundred years.
