Abstract: Documents observations demonstrating that mother-offspring pairs of migratory otariid (Callorhinus ursinus) not only have ability to recognize each other's vocalizations during course of breeding season, but are also able to retain these memories for at least four years. Research carried out on Pribilof Islands, Alaska.
