Determining the volume of ice formed by water freezing in underground storages / Georgiy P. Kuzmin.
Title: | Determining the volume of ice formed by water freezing in underground storages / Georgiy P. Kuzmin. |
Author(s): | Kuzmin, Georgiy P. |
Date: | 2000. |
Publisher: | Norway : |
In: | Proceedings [of the] International Workshop on Permafrost Engineering, Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway, 18-21 June 2000. (2000.), |
Abstract: | Problems of storing water in storage areas in frozen soils are addressed. Water transformed into ice results in changes in chemistry of water, with gradual increase in water mineralization. Develops method for determining amount of ice formed in such underground areas. |
Notes: | In: Proceedings [of the] International Workshop on Permafrost Engineering, Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway, 18-21 June 2000 / Kåre Senneset, ed. |
