Record #154238:

Ice-induced jacket structure vibrations in Bohai Sea / Qianjin Yue, Xiangjun Bi.

Title: Ice-induced jacket structure vibrations in Bohai Sea / Qianjin Yue, Xiangjun Bi.
Author(s): Yue, Qianjin.
Bi, Xiangjun.
Date: 2000.
In: Journal of Cold Regions Engineering. (2000.), Vol. 14(2) (2000)
Abstract: Studies ice-induced vibration on conical and vertical structures on three jacket platforms in Bohai Sea, China. Discusses failure process of ice and mechanism of ice-induced vibration for these structures. Strong ice-induce vibrations took place on jacket platform regardless of whether ice-breaking cones were attached to legs of structures or not. In special issue on Bohai Sea ice.
