Record #154230:

An attempt at determination of calcium in ice by laser induced breakdown spectroscopy / Morimasa Takata, Yoshiro Ito, Kumiko Goto-Azuma, Nobuhiko Azuma.

Title: An attempt at determination of calcium in ice by laser induced breakdown spectroscopy / Morimasa Takata, Yoshiro Ito, Kumiko Goto-Azuma, Nobuhiko Azuma.
Author(s): Takata, Morimasa.
Ito, Yoshiro.
Goto-Azuma, Kumiko.
Azuma, Nobuhiko.
Date: 2000.
In: Bulletin of Glaciological Research. (2000.), Vol. 17 (2000)
Abstract: Applying laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), finds it can be used to analyse Ca in ice cores from low and mid latitudes, where Ca concentrations are relatively high. Shows potential of LIBS as continuous, high spatial resolution and non-destructive technique.
Notes:
