| Abstract: | 243 cod were examined and age and sex differences in occurrence of 13 species of parasite - 7 nematodes, 3 copepods, 1 acanthocephalan, 1 cestode and 1 digenian - were studied. Increases noted probably correspond to longer lifespan of Anisakis simplex and changes in cod feeding pattern for Hemiurus levinseni. Some differences in infestation of male and female cod were noted. |
