Record #154131:

The glaciolacustrine landform-sediment assemblage at Heinabergsjökull, Iceland / Matthew R. Bennett, David Huddart, Tom McCormick.

Title: The glaciolacustrine landform-sediment assemblage at Heinabergsjökull, Iceland / Matthew R. Bennett, David Huddart, Tom McCormick.
Author(s): Bennett, Matthew R.
Huddart, David.
McCormick, Tom.
Date: 2000.
In: Geografiska Annaler. Series A. Physical Geography. (2000.), Vol. 82A(1) (2000)
Abstract: Describes landform-sediment assemblages associated with one active (Vatnsdalur) and one fossil ice-dammed lake at Heinabergsjökull, south-east Iceland. These provide important data for interpretation of Pleistocene ice-dammed lakes. Distribution, concentration and movement of icebergs is control on location and geometry of area of maximum sedimentation.
