Abstract: Uses coefficient Kζ to represent relation of thickness of active layer in Holocene optimum to modern value. Spatial changes of Kζ reflect local and regional tendencies of active layer to increase under global warming. These regular changes can be used in prediction of results from global warming in 21st century. Highest values of Kζ appear in Yakutia and northern Transbaikalia, regions with extreme continental climate.
