Record #153589:

Development of techniques for measuring in situ ice rubble shear strength / S.E. Bruneau, and 6 others.

Title: Development of techniques for measuring in situ ice rubble shear strength / S.E. Bruneau, and 6 others.
Author(s): Bruneau, S. E.
Date: 1998.
Publisher: Rotterdam: A.A. Balkema
In: Ice in surface waters. Proceedings of 14th International Symposium on Ice, Potsdam, NY, USA, 27-31 July 1998. (1998.),
Abstract: Using experiments in indoor ice basin and field experiments in Canada and Sea of Okhotsk, evaluates and describes three methods for measuring ice rubble strength properties. All gave large-scale in situ strength measurements needed for ridge-keel load algorithms.
