Record #153586:

Modelling of damage in ice / P.M. Melanson, I.J. Jordaan, I.L. Meglis.

Title: Modelling of damage in ice / P.M. Melanson, I.J. Jordaan, I.L. Meglis.
Author(s): Melanson, P. M.
Jordaan, I. J.
Meglis, I. L.
Date: 1998.
Publisher: Rotterdam: A.A. Balkema
In: Ice in surface waters. Proceedings of 14th International Symposium on Ice, Potsdam, NY, USA, 27-31 July 1998. (1998.),
Abstract: Reviews constitutive model for ice developed at Memorial University of Newfoundland and tests calibration of model. Model includes effect of hydrostatic pressure and stress on damage measure and creep response of ice. Finds probability of different deformation mechanisms at high and low confining pressures.
