| Abstract: | Hummocks were studied in Sea of Okhotsk, off Sakhalin 1985-95, by thermodrilling. Results show average thickness for consolidated layer grew (from 1.4 to 4.04 m) with age, as did thickness of solid ice sections in keel, whilst porosity factor reduced with age. |
