Abstract: Uses non-linear finite element analysis to calculate ice forces on conical structures. Treats ice as isotropic, non-linear material capable of cracking and simulates contact between ice sheet and structure using formulation based on sliding interaction between deformable body and rigid body, with Coulomb friction sliding.
