Record #153515:

Vertebrate remains from Upper Silurian-Lower Devonian beds of Hall Land, North Greenland / Henning Blom.

Title: Vertebrate remains from Upper Silurian-Lower Devonian beds of Hall Land, North Greenland / Henning Blom.
Author(s): Blom, Henning.
Date: 1999.
In: Geology of Greenland Survey Bulletin. (1999.), Vol. 182 (1999)
Abstract: Microscopic remains of 26 taxa of thelodonts, heterostracans, osteostracans, anaspids, acanthodians and chondrichthyans are described from limestone beds in two localities of Chester Berg Formation. Beds form minor part of monotonous calcareous sandstone, siltstone, mudstone sequence on top of Franklinian Basin succession. Possible resolution of previous problematic correlation shows biostratigraphic utility of thelodonts here. Thelodont assemblage has several new taxa, one very similar to type material of Tuva region, Siberia.
