Record #153505:

Spatial variabilities of CPUE and mean size as possible criteria for unit stock demarcations in analytical assessments of Nephrops at Iceland / Hrafnkell Eiríksson.

Title: Spatial variabilities of CPUE and mean size as possible criteria for unit stock demarcations in analytical assessments of Nephrops at Iceland / Hrafnkell Eiríksson.
Author(s): Eiríksson, Hrafnkell.
Date: 1999.
In: Rit Fiskideildar. (1999.), XVI (1999)
Abstract: Describes how correlations in long-term trends in Catch Per Unit Effort between areas may be useful in determining unit stock boundaries within distribution of creature off south Iceland. Although it is known to be burrowing, non-migratory species in juvenile and adult stages, significant correlations are considered to indicate spatial relationships. Analysis of carapace length distributions from pristine fishing years shows significant variation within depths 110-220 m.
Notes:

Rit Fiskideildar. XVI :239-245 (1999).
