| Abstract: | Creature was studied on 60 mile transect from 40 m to 175 m depth in Mar to June 1990-1992. Marked spring increase started late May. Spawning usually began in shallow water. Findings are discussed in relation to data on hydrography, phytoplankton biomass and recruitment to cod stock. |
