Abstract: Presents model with unbalanced heat budget on surface of multi-layers sea ice, and compares it with Hibler's model by simulation. Shows that surface temperature and thickness are inter-related and reach equilibrium in hundreds of years. Thermodynamic forcing has strong influence.
