| Abstract: | Uses high resolution regional climate model for Sweden and its surroundings (SWECLIM), providing down-scaling (as output from global General Circulation Models is too coarse in terms of precipitation and temperature) to study response of glaciers to greenhouse warming scenarios. Response of Nigardsbreen and Storglaciären are described. Finds significant differences in glacier mass balance between Hadley Centre model output and SWECLIM output. |
