| Abstract: | State of pelagic and demersal stocks of cod, capelin, herring, mackerel and blue whiting in some of Barents Sea, Norwegian Sea, North Sea and NE Atlantic in 1998 are described. New model for cod stocks is being developed. Much cannibalism is expected. Stocks of NE Atlantic haddock, Norwegian Sea whiting, saithe N of 62deg.N, ling, hake, Greenland halibut, redfish, horse mackerel, sprat, shrimp, pout and sand eel are reported. |
