Anchor ice formation and discharge change on a cold region river / M. Yamazaki, Y. Hirai, K. Hasegawa, K. Hirayama.

Title: Anchor ice formation and discharge change on a cold region river / M. Yamazaki, Y. Hirai, K. Hasegawa, K. Hirayama.
Author(s): Yamazaki, M.
Hirai, Y.
Hasegawa, K.
Hirayama, K.
Date: 1998.
Publisher: Rotterdam: A.A. Balkema
In: Ice in surface waters. Proceedings of 14th International Symposium on Ice, Potsdam, NY, USA, 27-31 July 1998. (1998.),
Abstract: During survey in March 1992-94 of Penke-niupu River, Hokkaido, Japan, ice discharge showed daily oscillation. Analyses physical mechanisms of this process and builds prediction model. Simulated results show good agreement with actual discharge.
