Abstract: | Series of genetic forms associated with recent glacier movements, jökulhlaups and meltwater flow were distinguished. Outwash levels with ground moraines and end moraine hillocks (four generations), marking glacier halts, dominate forefield. Oldest moraines are probably Younger Dryas or early Holocene. Others mark Little Ice Age, 1945 and 1992. |
