Gender variation of Dryas octopetala along snowmelt and latitudinal gradients in the sub-Arctic and the high Arctic / Naoya Wada, Gaku Kudo, Satoru Kojima.

Title: Gender variation of Dryas octopetala along snowmelt and latitudinal gradients in the sub-Arctic and the high Arctic / Naoya Wada, Gaku Kudo, Satoru Kojima.

In: National Institute of Polar Research. Polar Bioscience. (1999.), Vol. 12 (1999)
Abstract: Variations of floral traits are described from three sites: sub- Arctic Latnjajaure, north Sweden, and high Arctic Longyearbyen and Ny- Ålesund, Svalbard. Male flowers were significantly lighter than hermaphrodites, with greater difference on Svalbard. Femaleness (ratio of gynoecium weight to total weight) of hermaphrodites was greater in Sweden.
