Title: | Microbial biomass in relation to primary succession on Arctic deglaciated moraines / Yukiko Bekku, Atsushi Kume, Takayuki Nakatsubo, Takehiro Masuzawa, Hiroshi Kanda, Hiroshi Koizumi. |
Author(s): | Bekku, Yukiko. Kume, Atsushi. Nakatsubo, Takayuki. Masuzawa, Takehiro. Kanda, Hiroshi. Koizumi, Hiroshi. |
Date: | 1999. |
In: | National Institute of Polar Research. Polar Bioscience. (1999.), Vol. 12 (1999) |
Abstract: | Biomass was measured in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard at 4 sites and 3 depths to 3 cm. Mass was highest at surface and at oldest site. There was positive correlation between soil carbon or nitrogen content and microbial biomass. |
