Title: Microbial biomass in relation to primary succession on Arctic deglaciated moraines / Yukiko Bekku, Atsushi Kume, Takayuki Nakatsubo, Takehiro Masuzawa, Hiroshi Kanda, Hiroshi Koizumi.
Author(s): Bekku, Yukiko.
Kume, Atsushi.
Nakatsubo, Takayuki.
Masuzawa, Takehiro.
Kanda, Hiroshi.
Koizumi, Hiroshi.
Date: 1999.
In: National Institute of Polar Research. Polar Bioscience. (1999.), Vol. 12 (1999)
Abstract: Biomass was measured in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard at 4 sites and 3 depths to 3 cm. Mass was highest at surface and at oldest site. There was positive correlation between soil carbon or nitrogen content and microbial biomass.
