Abstract: Summaries in French and German. Figure captions in French. Detailed study of structure of 5.7 m high palsa in region of Rivière Boniface, Québec finds morphology reflects shape of ice-rich core heaved by growth of thick ice lenses in marine silts of Tyrrell Sea. Palsa growth showed ice-filled fault planes in frozen sediments. Peat plateau was lower, with thin ice lenses in underlying layer of sandy silt, demonstrating influence of local Quaternary geomorphological settings.
