Abstract: Summaries in French and German. Figure captions in French. Six buried tree boles of Engelmann spruce found in outmermost morainal deposit from Hilda Creek rock glacier, Mount Athabasca, Alberta are shown by dendrochronology to have been overwhelmed after 1856, when nearby glaciers were reaching their maximum Little Ice Age positions. Data indicate glacier has continued to advance by more than 1 cm per year.
