Title: Tap av kalvingsland som følge av forstyrrelse fra hyttefelt og kraftlinjer / Ingunn Vistnes, Christian Nellemann.
Translated title: Loss of calving land as result of disturbance by hut estates and power lines.
Author(s): Vistnes, Ingunn.
Nellemann, Christian.
Date: 1999.
Language: Norwegian.
In: Reindriftsnytt. (1999.), Vol. 33(2) (1999)
Abstract: Good grazing is missed by reindeer stressed by new power lines and, more seriously, by clusters of holiday huts. Deer keep four km away from any such disturbance. So just small encroachment has considerable effect. In area of Repparfjorddal, 75% of snowfree calving ground has been debarred in this way.
