| Abstract: | Search was made in northern Peary Land in 1999 for remains of hunter-gatherer culture from 2500-2000 BC. Eigil Knuth's expedition had found some in 1948. Weather confined search to area 50 miles north of Knuth's. No sites were found, and natural resources there now would not permit such culture to survive today. |
