| Abstract: | In special issue on Methods of Mass Balance Measurements and Modelling. Discusses results from annual mass balance measurements on Lemon Creek Glacier, Alaska, 1953-98. Geodetic interpretations agree fairly well with trend of sequential balances from ground-level stratigraphic measurements. Has most confidence in ground data. Finds terminal retreat of 800 m 1953-98, with dramatically increased negative mass balances in 1990s. |
