Record #152701:
Analysis of difference between direct and geodetic mass balance measurements at South Cascade Glacier, Washington / Robert M. Krimmel.
Title: | Analysis of difference between direct and geodetic mass balance measurements at South Cascade Glacier, Washington / Robert M. Krimmel. |
Author(s): | Krimmel, Robert M. |
Date: | 1999. |
In: | Geografiska Annaler. Series A. Physical Geography. (1999.), Vol. 81A(4) (1999) |
Abstract: | In special issue on Methods of Mass Balance Measurements and Modelling. Compares net mass balance measured by 'direct method' since 1958 at South Cascade Glacier, WA, USA, with results from geodetic method at times during 1970-97. Results show fairly consistent balance in deviation between these methods, but with cumulative systematic error. Attempts to give causes for this. |
Notes: | Geografiska Annaler. Series A. Physical Geography. Vol. 81A(4) :653-658 (1999). |
