| Abstract: | Describes morphology of Lichen Hills in upper Rennick Glacier, Victoria Land, Antarctica, in four categories. Constructs depositional model for moraines and relates glacial drift to blue-ice areas existing since Last Glacial Maximum (LGM). Shows different stages of recession of upper Rennick Glacier that are also valid for similar situations in northern Victoria Land. Significant changes appear at Pacific edge of East Antarctic ice sheet since LGM. |
