| Abstract: | Air bubbles and hydrates at 120-2200 m depth in Dome Fuji (Antarctica) ice core were examined by microscope. No air bubbles were found below 1100 m depth whilst air hydrates appeared from 600 m. Observed number of bubbles and hydrates was similar to those in Vostok ice core, though in ice covering Last Glacial Maximum, hydrate concentration is about half that of Vostok core. |
