| Abstract: | Measures temperature profile of 1200 m deep Dome Summit South (DSS) borehole, Law Dome, Antarctica, using Monte Carlo inverse method. Record shows minima at AD 1250 and 1850, with gradual increase in temperature from 1850 to present. Compares reconstructed temperatures with stable oxygen isotope from DSS ice core. |
