Abstract: Compares results from using a new design of electrical conductivity method (ECM) instrument and traditional dielectric profiler on deep ice cores from Dome C, and Vostok, Antarctica. Suggests long-term average ratio of accumulation rate of 1.36 between this Dome C core and Vostok, and that Dome C core (analyzed to 358 m) probably includes end of Glacial-Holocene transition.
