Date: 1999.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1999.), Vol. 29 (1999)
Abstract: Evaluates primary and secondary marine aerosol contributions to snow composition in Terra Nova Bay, Antarctica, by chemical analysis of surface and snow-pit samples. Finds seasonal pattern of marine inputs in snow-pit samples. Shows importance of altitude and distance from coast in affecting seasonal change in snow collected within 200 km radius of Terra Nova Bay Italian base.
